Never say that someone completes you. We have to feel whole even when we are by ourselves, for needing a certain someone is not love but dependency. Wanting a person to become a part of our life is the best reason for having them. And you can only want when you know you have enough.
So rather than searching for that someone who will complete you, wait for the person who will complement you completeness.

Sakto o Sayop. Tubaga KO!!!!
People live their lives bound by what they accept as correct and true. That's how they define reality. But what does it mean to be "correct" or "true"? They maybe merely vague concepts. Their "reality" may all be a mirage. Can we consider them to simply be living in their own world, shaped by their beliefs?

Something about patience
Patience is not the ability to wait but the ability to keep a good attitude while waiting. I have to keep faith. He makes all things beautiful in His time.

I'm an Angel

What's Your Goddess Identity?
My Result: Angel
Just like the haloed and winged guardians of good, you truly have a heart of gold, sweet Angel. Whenever there's a chance to pitch in, save the day or just make life easier for the people around you, you're the one for the job.
You don't just jump in without planning — you use your angelic head to figure out how to do things right the first time, like only the most dependable goddesses can. Whether brainstorming a new solution to a problem, planning a surprise party for your parents, or lending your friends a wing to cry on, you've got the right instincts, so follow them whenever you can. As natural as it is for you to take care of the people around you, don't forget to treat yourself right, too. The best friendships, and loves, of a lifetime tend to blossom when you become your own guardian angel.
So don't listen to those who say nice girls finish last. People have always seen you as a goddess of thoughtfulness and good intentions, and it hasn't slowed you down a bit. All in all, Angel, you've got it made with your glowing attitude and ability to see from on high. So get out there and change the world!

i want to be a chef
Last saturday, my mother and I went to CICC for a food expo organized by WOFEX. As I was strolling along the different booths and finding out what's in store, an ad caught my attention.
"Php 2,500/month"
I went in and then a lady, noticing me gawking at their streamer, gave me a pamphlet.
I held the 1/2 lengthwise paper in my hand as if my life depended upon it. The prints in the pamphlet offered things that before were beyond my reach. It advertised a special offer for people who wants to study 1st class culinary skills for just 2,500 per month. Most culinary schools tuition fees requires big amounts of money ranging from 5,000 - 20,000 a month. So I found the offer very tempting. I couldn't just let the opportunity pass me by. It was then that I decided, I should enroll in that school.
I really want to be a chef. In fact, I love cooking. I want to enhance my skill in such field. I want to learn all the techniques. I want to have it all. You can't blame me to want it because I grew up watching cooking shows. I even dreamed of being in it.
Unfortunately, my parents can't afford the tuition. I mean, they can but they can't risk any more expenses with their salaries. tsk.

questions
Have you ever asked yourself why does everything have to be complicated?
Why doe we have to see a lot of varieties and choices yet we only need one?
Why can't everything just be simple?
How will you know which is right if you don't know which is wrong?

learning from a philosopher

Warning: This may sound a bit cliche. And I did not make up the qoutes. I don't personally know the philosopher and I just copied it from an SMS message. Credits to the maker or owner....
"What is the cure for love at first sight?'
the philosopher replied....
"Take a second look, this time closer."
POV: Interesting.....

Am I so weak not to move on?
It's really annoying when memories of someone who has decided to keep distance is constantly bugging me. Why can't I just erase them in my mind to prevent me from reminiscing? After all, no matter how happy or glorious the memories were, all they bring is pain, knowing the fact that they are just all part of the past...
And what annoys me more is that I keep denying that they won't come back anymore into my life. I guess hours of boredom brings back all the memories I have carefully buried deep in my heart.

I'm renewed by spending time with others
When life's storms set you adrift in a sea of worries, you know you can always find an anchor in the people closest to you. Whether it's a long weekend talk on the phone with that relative you miss, an afternoon at a café with a dear friend, or a morning snuggling in bed with your sweetheart, you feel rejuvenated when you've made a connection with someone who knows you well. This doesn't necessarily mean you don't like to spend at least some time alone with your thoughts. It's just that you're particularly good at drawing energy and inspiration from those around you. So next time life makes you feel squeezed and pulled in too many directions, set aside some time to center yourself by spending time with friends, family, or your special someone.

My lips say I've got understated charm
Whether I'm delivering a sweet smooch or a well-chosen compliment, a kind and centered sweetie like me uses lips to show how much I care. I'm a great listener who's got a knack for knowing what — and what not — to say.
Subtle and down-to-earth, I'm not totally consumed by fussy fashions or high-maintenance beauty routines. I'm most comfortable in simple styles that let my genuine self shine through. Seems just right for a go-with-the-flow gal like me.

The silversmith
Malachi 3:3 says: 'He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.'
This verse puzzled some women in a Bible study and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God.
One of the women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study.
That week, the woman called a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn't mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining Silver.
As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities.
The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot; then she thought again about the verse that says: 'He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver.' She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined.
The man answered that yes, he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed.
The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, 'How do you know when the silver is fully refined?'
He smiled at her and answered, 'Oh, that's easy -- when I see my image in it.'
If today you are feeling the heat of the fire , remember that God has his eye on you and will keep watching you until He sees His image in you.
Life is a coin. You can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
